Join curator John Coffey as he discusses selected works from the Museum’s American collection. From the marble bust of Senator John C. Calhoun, to Winslow Homer’s idyllic Weaning the Calf, to Thomas Hart Benton’s Spring on the Missouri, much of the history of America—its territories, people, heroes, and leaders—is told through works in the permanent collection.
