There’s nothing quite like the experience of an outdoor show by North Carolina’s renowned Paperhand Puppet Intervention. Myth, magic, and pageantry abound as fantastical creatures and settings transform the Park Theater stage, all accented with original live music.

Islands Unknown is an odyssey epic that travels to the depths of the imagination and the very ends of the earth. The heroine, a wandering young girl, finds herself in a mysterious library that is being consumed by a rising sea of information. Soon she is afloat, on a paper boat, with a goat heading toward an adventure full of animals and beasts, mustachioed men and pirates, monsters, furies, and even gods.

Please note: We will be offering a family-friendly menu including hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, and more at this event.
