On November 6 East Building reopens to members for a sneak peek at five exhibitions opening at once, including American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell; Bob Trotman: Inverted Utopias; Fins and Feathers: Original Children’s Book Illustrations from The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art; Binh Danh: In the Eclipse of Angkor; and John James Audubon’s The Birds of America. A grand celebration including light hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer, specialty fountain drinks, and lively entertainment takes place in the Main Hall (former Egyptian Gallery).
