The North Carolina Museum of Art

Blue Loop Opening Celebration

Saturday, April 13 | 10:30 am
Museum Park
Free

You’re invited to the grand opening of the Blue Loop—a new mile-long trail in America’s largest museum art park—hosted by the North Carolina Museum of Art and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC).

Join us to celebrate the Museum Park's newest trail with live music from Big Medicine Bluegrass Band and the A&T Drumline, healthy treats from the Triangle’s favorite food trucks, and a celebratory walk around the loop.

As a bonus, everyone who goes around the loop before 12:30 pm gets free admission to the NCMA’s exhibition 0 to 60: The Experience of Time through Contemporary Art for the day—so bring your friends and family, and encourage them to get active and enjoy art!

Special speakers include Raleigh Mayor Nancy McFarlane, NCMA Director Lawrence Wheeler, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina CEO Brad Wilson.

The Blue Loop is made possible by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina as part of its statewide initiative Get Outside North Carolina (Go NC!).
