Curator David Steel discusses works from the Chrysler Museum in Virginia that are on loan to the NCMA. Magnificent paintings and sculpture by Degas, Renoir, Cassatt, Rodin, and others offer an opportunity to enjoy masterpieces from two great institutions side by side. Steel speaks about his selection process, the history of each piece, and how the Chrysler collection enhances our own. The Chrysler works are on view in West Building through February 2, 2014.
