Exhibition Policies
- Please do not touch the works of art.
- No food or drink allowed in the galleries.
- Photography and sketching are prohibited.
- For the safety of our visitors and works of art, strollers, baby carriers, backpacks, and other bulky items are not permitted. They can be checked at the Information Desk.
Blue Ridge, the Museum Restaurant
- Tuesday–Saturday, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Friday evening 5:30–10 p.m. (Last seating 8:30 p.m.)
- Sunday, 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
- Closed Monday
Enjoy elegant yet casual cuisine in the Museum’s full-service restaurant, located on the Lower Level. Lunch is served Tuesday through Saturday. Brunch is offered on Saturday and Sunday. Reservations recommended: call (919) 664-6838.

During Landscapes from the Age of Impressionism, the Museum offers two unique shopping experiences:
Landscapes Exhibition Store
Take the show home with you. This special store offers beautiful gifts, books, art prints, and more, all related to the exhibition. Located on the Lower Level at the exhibition exit.
Museum Store
Located on the Museum’s Entrance Level, the Museum Store offers some of the most unusual and inspired gifts in the area. Drop by or visit the online store.
