Student group tours

Reservations are required for docent-led group tours of Temples and Tombs and will be accepted beginning Feburary 15, 2007. Tour slots are expected to fill quickly.

Docent-led tours are offered for students in grades 3 and up. Tours require a minimum of 10 participants.

School group tour dates and times

School group tours are offered April 24 through June 22.

School group tour reservations can be made for 9:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m., Tuesdays thru Fridays.

School group tours are limited to 60 people per time slot.

For educators

Teacher workshops

Partial credit of .25 CEU will be awarded per session. Teachers attending all four workshops will be eligible for 1 CEU credit (10 hours).

Workshop Follow-up: Teachers who participate in the workshop series will submit a proposal for a programming option for the Museum's Spring Park Festival celebrating Temples and Tombs. This proposal should be based on a classroom application of concepts explored in workshops. Examples include running a workshop based on a classroom activity that uses students as peer-instructors, creating a performance, or participating in park storytelling sessions.
