Tickets

Tickets are required for the Temples and Tombs exhibition. Tickets are issued for a specific date and time and are subject to availability.

Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended.

Hours

Tuesday–Thursday and Saturday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.

Friday, 9 a.m.–9 p.m.

Sunday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

The Museum is closed on Mondays.

Public tours

Saturdays, April 28th , May 26th , June 23rd, 11:30 a.m.

Scheduled docent-led public tours are free with an exhibition ticket. (An 11:30 a.m. exhibition ticket is required.)

Audio tour

An Acoustiguide Audio Tour of the exhibition is available for $5 at the Museum Box Office.

Eternal Egypt virtual experience

Video Theater, Free

IBM presents stunning virtual recreations of the Great Pyramid, Luxor Temple, and Tutankhamun's tomb in the NCMA Video Theater, located on the Entrance Level of the Museum. Visit the Eternal Egypt Web site.

Exhibition policies

Please do not touch the works of art.

No food or drink allowed in the galleries.

Photography and sketching are prohibited.

Strollers, backpacks, umbrellas, and other bulky items are not permitted. They can be checked at the Information Desk.

Elegant but casual cuisine

Enjoy culinary delights in the Museum’s full-service restaurant. Located on the Lower Level of the Museum.

A lunch menu is offered Tuesday through Saturday. A brunch menu is offered on Saturday and Sunday.
