In light of Governor Cooper’s state of emergency declaration and recommendations regarding large gatherings, this event has been postponed.
Contemporary artist Leonardo Drew creates sculptures and site-specific installations including City in the Grass and Making Chaos Legible. Drew discusses work from his career and his intent for it to be a mirror for viewers, reflecting their individual experiences.

This spring at the NCMA, go around the globe with five exhibitions: one ticket gives you access to North Carolina painters, the beauty of Senegalese jewelry, site-specific indoor and outdoor installations by New York artist Leonardo Drew, and works by Thai artist Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook.
