This panel discussion on the exhibition To Be Young: Coming of Age in the Contemporary features photographers Faith Couch and Jaylan Rhea in conversation with exhibition curator and Mellon Foundation Assistant Curator Maya Brooks. They will discuss their interpretation of the exhibition’s coming-of-age theme and examine how individuals from different cultures and communities establish rites of passage that determine the progression from childhood to adulthood.
